Easter Sunday

(I'm sorry, Gretchan, if it freaks you out that my posts aren't in order ha ha!)

Easter was beautiful, even if it poured rain all day.

My mom took the girls to church. I think it was the first Easter ever that I didn't go to church, but Henry really needed a nap, and I had to do a little stealth business back at the house. Then my brother, sister in law, and Babynate came for lunch and egg/basket hunting.

Ah sweet baby! I miss him already!!

My mom is moving, this was our last visit to her house in the woods in Big Sur with the ocean view and the smell of eucalyptus in the air. A little magical place that has been home for about twenty years, and we'll miss it. I'm excited to have her in town, close to my brother and in walking distance of everything, and safer too (you know, with Highway 1 falling into the ocean every now and then). But I'm sad that my kids won't grow up knowing the place down the coast. I'm so glad we got this last, special visit.
