This picture is me. I am holding my baby #3, throwing a birthday bash for my baby #2, in my run down old house that I absolutely love.
Here is a much more fun post that will tell you lots of things about me, because really I am nothing but a LOT of random bits of information.
I am a European girl (from Austria) but I call myself a Southern girl now, and if you heard me speak, I think you'd agree with me. I love my original home, my in-between home (California), and most of all my current home (Arkansas) where I have put down deep roots. I have traveled a lot, but I am a root grower.
Currently my roots are put down in a (relatively) small, old house. I talk about that, here.
I am attorney, and I work full time. But that's just what I do to put food on the table and a roof over our heads, my real job - the one I'm most proud of - is being a mother. I am a mama to three angels on earth and four angels in Heaven. I talk about parenting here.
Sophia is my baby #1, and she is five years old. She's my little mini me. She was born with a rare condition that I talk about here, which has resulted in a lot of doctor's visits and surgeries, but that has only made us stronger and more determined than ever to live life to the fullest. I talk about that here. Sophia is empathetic and caring and the other "mommy" in our house. She's a tomboy and has great expectations for this life of hers!
Amelia is my baby #2, and she is four years old. She is my husband's little mini me. She is funny and sweet and can do ANYTHING she sets her mind to!
Henry is my baby #3, and he is a year old. He brings so, so much joy into our lives. Already he is a total ham, and tries all day long to make us all laugh. He's also the world's best snuggler and will lay on my shoulder with his arms wrapped around my neck forever. Henry was born peacefully at home, and I talk about that here.
I love running, but I have asthma, so I'll be the last one in the race puffing on my inhaler. I love to sew and do crafts. I LOVE cooking, and strive to make healthy meals for my family. I share some of my favorite family recipes on the blog. To find out about how to easily make all kinds of veggies, look here.
I love getting comments and emails from my readers - I have gotten to know so many GREAT women through this blog world.
