They say each kid is different

It's just HARD not to compare your kids... they're the only point of reference you have! Well, mine are really different from each other, right from the start (first trimester, that is!)

Sophia was potty trained at 18 months, despite the fact that we weren't really in any hurry and weren't trying to potty train her (can't say "no" when your kid asks for a potty!) She still had accidents, but she was pretty good about it by 18 months. Well, Amelia is coming up on 18 months, and she has not shown the slightest interest in potty training. Nothing. Which is fine with me. Except, as of this morning, she's decided she wants to wear panties. She takes her diaper off and puts on a pair of Sophia's panties (which is really cute to watch - it takes her about ten minutes to get them on!) Of course she pees in them, and then wants a new pair. *shrug* Luckily we have hard wood and tile floors.

Gotta love that hardwood! Not so good for fall when learning to walk...but PERFECT for potty training!
