I'm a crazy sentimental person, and I keep random things - like the In Style magazine I was reading when Sophia was born (I figure she might want to see one day how crazy fashions were in 2005).
So on her birthday, Sophia looked through her box of keepsakes (if you call In Style a keepsake) and reflected on her life so far

And I found one of my favorite of Sophia's doodles

I think that's a great idea about the magazine! My teenage daughter won't believe me when I tell her that the fashions this year are very similar to what was 'out' when I was a teenager (ankle boots in particular, and also pointy-toe high heels. She thinks they are so ugly!!).
Oh, I feel like a putz. I have this fabulous box of keepsakes. It never occurred to me to actually share it with my son, before say age 18. Duh. He turns 5 this fall. I think it'll be great fun to show him some of the things I saved from when he was a baby. Looking at Sophia enjoy those things has been an inspiration. Thanks!
That's fun! (That your kept the magazine from the day Sophia was born).
I hope you're having a great weekend. I painted all day with Abigail. I have paint all over me - not very graceful. tee hee
Love ya.
