Road Trip Boy

I was a little nervous about making the 5 hour trip to visit my dad with Henry, because he hasn't really been happy in the car. I'm used to traveling with the girls, who have always been great at road trips. During carpool every day, as I'm waiting to pick up the girls, Henry WAILS. Nothing makes him more mad than a car standing still!

But he did GREAT! We moved him from his infant seat to the rear-facing Marathon car seat, so he could look out the window and stretch out a little more. He slept most of the way, and was just generally a sweet, happy camper.

The girls did great too and we had a wonderful time with my dad.

Now we're ready for the rest of the summer - we'll be taking a trip (with Daddy this time) to Wisconsin next month, and then I'll be taking the kids to Texas to visit friends in August.
