I took Friday off work, and I brought Amelia's friend John home from school. They are so sweet together, I love it! They were cracking up making sad and happy faces with these smiley cards from their Happy Meals.
And then, even better, smiley leprechaun!
My friend Janna called to ask if I wanted to help her take a group of kindergarten girls to the zoo. I said "sure, but I'm not going to help the adult-child ratio any, because I have four kids today!" I was actually planning to take the kids to the zoo anyway, so Janna and I took seven kids to the zoo. Woo hoo! It really was fun, though I don't think either one of us are going to start a second career as a teacher ha! I went to bed at 7:45 last night and slept almost 12 hours (thanks, Honey!)
While we waited for the rest of the gang, we rode the carousel.
Amelia held her hand like this the whole time to keep Henry from falling out. Isn't she sweet?
"Look at the camera, Henry!"
Then they ran around and around this little grassy area.
I have no idea what's going on here.
Or here.
Aren't these two adorable?!?
I think they're even cuter as penguins!
Henry started to get sleepy - it was almost 2 pm and he hadn't had a nap AT ALL that day.
We fed the freaky freaky fish.
And he was out.
*shudder*
Apparently Dippin Dots is now a zoo tradition.
Sophia and her friend Reese - this was her first time to the zoo (they live outside of town).
Henry woke up happy from his nap.
And the big kids rode the train while Henry and I watched.
This is new - I LOVE it!!!!!
I was more excited about the new hand-washing station than the new penguin exhibit. That says a lot about me, I'm sure.
Happy Spring Break Everyone!!

I try to do fun things with my son. Hoping in the long run, he will remember that mom took him on fieldtrips and to the zoo and museums. I have so much fun, too. I love building his memories. Looks like you all had a great time! Your kids are adorable!
