And Then I Went to Bed

Are you tired of hearing how tired I am?

Because I really, really was going to say that it's getting better... last night I got little sleep, because of sick kids, and then I had a bear of a day at work. I worked late, came home and immediately cooked dinner, then after dinner took the kids on a brisk walk for about two miles (pushing them in the stroller), then finalized my shopping list/coupon clipping, and went grocery shopping. It was a big shopping trip. I was really proud of myself.

Then, at 9:00 p.m....

In my trunk, there was a spare Britax Marathon car seat, a single stroller, a (huge) double stroller, and some other random, uh, stuff. As soon as I opened the trunk, the big stroller came flying out. And then after I crammed it back in the trunk, I had to fit $199 worth of groceries (which, before sales/coupons was actually $280 worth of groceries, thankyouverymuch) in there. I'm talking things like a huge watermelon, a big bag of potatoes, three gallons of milk, you get the picture... And it was pouring buckets, and buckets of rain (like, when I was driving and had the windshield wipers on full-blast, I could still barely see). If you want more detail, I was wearing a white t-shirt ha!

Let's just say, my darling husband is putting away the groceries, while I lie in bed in my pajamas... and I'm going to bed. Hey, I almost made it to 9:30 - I'm making progress!

Vera...just thought I'd answer your question about the childbirth thing...I didn't use any particular method...but I can tell you this. Water birth is the way to go if you can find a midwife/hospital who has the equipment...it cuts the pain in half, I swear. I was in the tub with #3 and although I had to get out...a stupid hospital rule where I delivered, it was seriously so much less painful and the labor went really fast...because I was relaxed.
