Look how tiny!
I made a big pile of preemie, newborn, and 0-3 month clothes for Davis to wash in Dreft (there is some sort of mommy pheromone they put in that stuff - it just sets my heart a-flutter!!) and as I looked over at the pile, I saw it.... blue! Blue everywhere! It's starting to sink it, that things are going to change a lot at our house :)
This morning the girls were playing baby - Amelia was the baby crawling around and making mewling sounds, while Sophia dressed her up and put blankets on her and named her Pinkie Pie. When I asked Sophia what they were doing, she said "we're playing baby. But I'm about ready to have a real baby in this house!"
We're about ready too... the nursery still needs to be painted, but it's otherwise all put together (I know that's backwards, but since I am stuck in bed I have no power to enforce my logic!) We have a car seat, diapers, Dreft-smelling drawers of baby clothes. Now I am very content to sit and wait for weeks - hopefully at least 3 weeks, though 6 would be even better!

Pinkie Pie!! hehe....LOVE IT!
OH! I love Dreft! And the feeling of those soft cotton newborn clothes! You are going to have SO MUCH FUN!
Oh, so fun! And I so know the heart fluttering effect of Dreft. I was washing clothes before Baby Bear was born and I forced our company (all single guys) to smell the baby clothes. Of course, it had absolutely no affect on them;)
I just caught up on your posts! The pictures from your shower look awesome, I love newborn clothing, especially premie clothing they are just so tiny!
I am sorry your sweet girl has pneumonia--I hope she starts feeling better soon.
Keep cooking that sweet little boy. :)
I forget how tiny newborn clothes are....:) Lucky you that you will be having a little boy, maybe we will be lucky next time around?....:)
White is my absolute favorite too....but I think it's hard to find! I'm so envious...a new baby! Looks like you are having fun!
