Texas Pool Party 2010

Davis was out of town from Tuesday until early this morning, so the kids and I headed to Dallas for our annual pool party and my friend Kristy's house. It was SO fun!

The kids were AMAZING on the drive. Between the three of them, there was not a single tear shed on the drive down or on the drive home. I'm so very, very proud of them. I was much crankier about the drive than they were!

We went swimming every morning, and the weather was actually perfect. In the shade it was even a little cool if you were wet.

Between Julie, Kristy and me, we had three 5 year olds, two 3 year olds, one 2 year old, and three 6 month olds. And the amazing thing was that they all got along beautifully. I love these kiddos!

We headed to Ikea. That was a nightmare, but I got everything I needed, so it was worth it. I forgot Henry hates shopping, so for an hour solid he screamed while I rushed through Ikea (have you ever tried to rush through Ikea?!)

We came home last night right before bedtime, and discovered that lighting hit close to our house and we had no power. Our house alarm was broken and going off without a way to stop it and it was 90 degrees in our house. So the kids and I headed to Embassy Suites down the street and...
