15 Months!

My Little Bear was being a total stinker last week - he had three teeth coming in, and unlike the girls, he let's us know about it whenever he is teething! He was not sleeping well at night, basically skipping all of his naps until late afternoon when he'd crash, and he was c-l-i-n-g-y. But his top tooth finally broke through, and thankfully he's been happy the past couple of days. When Henry is happy, he is REALLY happy - he is just all smiles all the time. And he's FUNNY - he loves to make us all laugh!

And even when he is being a stinker, he is SO SWEET! When I pick him up, he puts his head on my left shoulder and wraps his arms so tightly around my neck. Sometimes he pats my back. And he will lay there like that, happily, for hours. He probably would for days if I let him. It is the sweetest thing in the world, and I cherish it. I wish I didn't have pesky laundry to fold and dinner to cook, then I would just sit there with my Babyleech on my shoulder!

Henry is walking... but only as a party trick, not as an actual mode of transportation. He can walk all over the house, with an audience of people clapping and cheering him along. But when he just wants to get from Point A to Point B, he always crawls. My children know that crawling drives me crazy, and that walking is the one milestone I am SO anxious for them to reach, so they have all been late walkers. That's just how it goes.

He will also walk when he has this popper - it was my cousin's 40 years ago!!

Obviously, he doesn't wear clothes. Actually, he really does. I promise.

Henry can also talk, but prefers not to. He can say "eat" and "up" and "Momma" and "Daddy" and "Sissy" and he has a few sounds the mean other things. But "Daddy" is the only word he will consistently say. He babbles all of the time, though, and when he wants something, he will usually point, grunt like a crave baby, and/or scream.

He loves bath time, though I have to watch him so closely! I remember when the girls got to this age, I could clean the bathroom while they were in the tub (with just a few inches of water, and never out of my sight, of course). But not Henry - he does insane stuff like stick his face in the water and inhale or stand up in the middle of the tub and start dancing! His favorite game is to have me sit at the edge to the tub while he sticks a bath toy in my mouth and I spit it out. When I spit it out, he laughs hysterically. Over and over and over again, it never gets old. Same thing with me pretending to eat his toes after his bath or kissing his belly.

He also loves his trucks, especially his dump truck, which he pushes all over the house

It makes me SO happy to have a little boy pushing trucks around my house!!

If you catch him doing something wrong, he yells at you!! It's the funniest thing and always makes us laugh. Also if he knows you're going to take something away from him, or say no to him, he yells at you with the same yell. In the coming months, this will go from "cute" to "not so cute" (along with tantrums) - but right now, we can't help but laugh.

He is a hungry boy! He eats more than the girls do at most meals, and at breakfast he eats more than anyone in the family. He's still a great eater, and hasn't encountered any food he doesn't love. His favorite food right now is bananas. Well, and corn of course!

Henry is in 12-18 month clothes, size 4 shoes, and a size 4 Pampers, although we are switching to these, which we will also use with the new baby - we love them, and I'm sure I'll eventually do a cloth diapering post. They have helped Henry with his diaper rashes too.

We all love our Henry Benry! He makes us all laugh, and I'm pretty sure he's got us all wrapped around his chubby little finger!

And yay for the cloth! :) BGs are awesome. Do you have a diaper sprayer?
