I am getting a blog make-over after Christmas, and I am SO excited! I've had tons of blog posts stirring in my mind, but also have a lot of updating to do (see that pregnancy ticker on the left there? That baby is now 9 weeks old!) One of the things I've wanted to do is a series of posts about products that I love and find myself recommending to everyone. So, here is Part I... I have a horrible track record with multi-part posts (how many MONTHS has it been since I've done a Vegetable of the Week post?!), so don't hold your breath for Part II ha!
I'm pretty sure I never outgrew the babydoll-dressing part of childhood, because I love dressing my babies. I especially love getting them dressed for bed - getting them all comfy cozy after a bath and baby massage. It feels like wrapping them in love, when I get them snuggled up. Here's what Wyatt has been snoozing in lately.
Gerber side-snap long-sleeve shirt. Washed in Dreft and 7th Generation fabric softener, these are so soft. I want some for me. And because they are side-snapping, no need to make baby mad by pulling them over his head!
Thirsties Duo jersey hemp prefold diaper. The softest diapers in the world. Yummy soft. Secured with a Snappi - best lets-stop-putting-pins-on-babies invention ever.
Over the prefold diaper, a wool soaker. I've gotten really hooked on diapering with wool. We still usually use THESE diapers during the day for both boys. But at night especially, I love wool. It is so breathable, never leaks, and, I don't know, I just love it. This one is a Kissas Wool Lover cover. You guessed it - SO SOFT!! I also have some wool soakers and longies from Etsy I love and some recycled wools I am making - that's a separate post.
And top layer - a LullaBag by Cloud B. I bought these when Sophia was a baby and I love them because... well, they are soft. Is there anything more important than softness when you're sleeping??! They are toasty warm and natural cotton, and they unzip on the bottom for diaper changes. Unfortunately they don't make them anymore (thankfully for me, I bought a BUNCH when Sophia was a baby). But there are plenty of other adorable soft-looking sleep sacks out there - like these.
Wishing you much softness at night, whatever your age!
